Golf Club Grado

The island of Grado is located on a coastal dune at the end of the Gulf of Venice and is also called “The Sunny Island.” This spot, surrounded by the Adriatic Sea, is home to Golf Club Grado. Founded in 1996, it offers members and guests a beautiful 18 hole championship course (par 72) directly by the scenic lagoon. It was designed by none less than Marco Croze. The course is perfectly integrated into the natural space and offers diverse golfing fun, offering challenges even for professional players. The island green at hole 18 is one of the course’s highlights. In addition there is a 9 hole short course. Golf Club Grado is considered one of the most beautiful golf courses in Italy for good reason. Due to the mild climate, it is open year-round. The club’s practice area consists of a large driving range with 30 tees. Players can improve their technical skills on the adjacent putting, pitching and chipping green as well as the practice bunker. Equipment can be rented on site at the Pro Shop. Golf Club Grado’s golf school organizes several trial and handicap courses. The classy restaurant “Al Casone” is a popular meeting point after the game and lets guests and golfers alike indulge in culinary delights. In Grado, a game of golf can be perfectly combined with a beach holiday and visits to the lovely old town.
