Golf-Club Hainburg

Set between the meadow woods of the Donau meadows and Braunsberg, the Golf-Club Hainburg is located between Vienna and Bratislava, directly on the Donau. In the Lower Austrian city of Hainburg, the most easterly city in Austria, it is near the Slovakian border. The Golf-Club Hainburg boasts good connections via the B9 and is only 45 minutes away from Vienna and 10 kilometers from Slovakian Bratislava. It was founded in 1977 and has a hilly 18-hole-course, type “parkland” with par 72, that poses a challenge for golfers of different skill levels due to its large altitude differences. The fairways have been well-integrated into the natural landscape. Open areas are mixed with bush zones and woods. From tee 7, players have a majestic view of the Donau Valley, Marchfeld, and the silhouette of Bratislava. Holes 10-18 are located on the dry grass areas of the foothills of the Carpathian Braunsberg in the form of terraces. The practice area at Golf-Club Hainburg is on the other side of the road and contains a driving range with 24 range tees and opportunities to putt and pitch. Golfers can rent clubs, trolleys, electric carts, as well as electric trolleys on-site before enjoying a relaxing game of golf.
