Golf de Saint Donat

Golf de Saint Donat is located close to the perfume city Grasse in the center of the French Riviera in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. It lies at a height of 306 meters by the southern foothills of the French Maritime Alps. Golf de Saint Donat can easily be reached from the well-known cities at the Côte d’Azur. It can be reached in 14 minutes from Grasse via the Route Napoléon and the Route de Cannes. The trip to Golf de Saint Donat takes approximately half an hour via the D6185 from Cannes, and 30 to 40 minutes via the A8 from Antibes and Nice. It was founded in 1993 and offers an 18 hole woodland course with par 71, designed by the famous golf course architects Robert Trent Jones Jr. and the Benedetti Group. The 6031 meter long course has a slightly hilly terrain surrounded by ancient trees. Water hazards, bunkers, and groups of trees standing in the middle of the fairways challenge the skills of golfers of all handicaps. A river flows along holes 6 to 8 and forms an obstacle that must be tackled with strategy. The 9 hole compact pitch & putt course with par 27 is recommended for golf novices and those who want to improve their short shots.
