Golf du Domaine du Val de Sorne

The Golf du Domaine du Val de Sorne golf course is located near the commune of Vernantois in eastern France, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Situated in the French Jura, it lies at the foot of Revermont on the 85 hectare area of the Resort du Val de Sorne. The Golf du Domaine du Val de Sorne is surrounded by gardens, vineyards and hills with views of the neighboring villages and crossed by the Sorne stream. It has good transport links to the neighboring towns and several larger communes. The golf course can be quickly reached in just 4 minutes from Vernantois via the D117 and D41. The Golf du Domaine du Val de Sorne is also only 10 minutes away from the capital city of the department of Jura, Lons-le-Saunier via the D117 and D41 and an hour away from Bourg-en-Bresse via the A39. The par 72 course has 18 holes and was designed by Hugues Lambert. It is particularly hilly and structured with ponds, bunkers, several inclines and large, old trees. The highlight of the 6,270 meter long course is hole 14, which gives way to a view of four church towers in the neighboring villages. The Golf du Domaine du Val de Sorne is counted among the 20 most beautiful courses in France, thanks to its charming location and athletic challenges.
