Goulburn Golf Club

One of the oldest golf clubs in Australia with a club history tracing back to 1898. The facility of the Goulburn Golf Club nestles into the Wollondilly river. The current 18-hole course with par 71 and a length of 5,801 meters was inaugurated in 1974. It is relatively flat and stretches across a beautiful landscape in the heart of the Southern Tablelands in New South Wales. It lies to the southwest of Sydney, approximately three hours away by car. The course at Goulburn Golf Club can be mastered by players of all handicap levels. It consists of five par 3s with a length between 136 and 198 meters, nine par 4s between 269 and 425 meters, and four par 5s between 425 and 497 meters. The Goulburn Golf Club is open all year long. There is a golf school on site, a driving range with practice greens, and a well-equipped pro shop. The comfortable club house also takes care of the guests’ physical well-being. Guests are welcome at the familial and friendly club. Goulburn lies at an elevation of about 700 meters. The town’s largest attraction is a 15-meter-high and about 20-meter-long statue of a merino sheep. Inside it is a small museum. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful view of the Tablelands through the eyes of the concrete “little sheep”.
