Innisfail Golf Club

The green turns greener… “A green like you have never seen before.” This is the motto of Innisfail Golf Club. The public club is situated in a tropical landscape 90 kilometers south of Cairns. It has a 9-hole course with par 70 and a length of 5,805 meters. The course is relatively flat, merely the first and last hole display certain changes in elevation. The fairways are wide and border the gently flowing Johnston River in some parts. The players can enjoy magnificent views on their round. Bunkers and water hazards as well as trees athletically interfere with the course and require golfing skills and concentration. Hole 2 with par 3, for example, is beautiful and tricky. With 120 meters, it is very short, but flower beds, water, and a bridge between tee and green make it the feature hole of the course of the Innisfail Golf Club. Guests are always welcome at the Innisfail Golf Club. The training green and the beautiful clubhouse with a bar and bistro is available to all. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A nice club in a fantastic setting! Not far away, there are great natural World Heritage sites, such as the Wet Tropics of Queensland, the Coral Sea, and the Great Barrier Reef.
