Kaisergolf Ellmau

At the foot of the Wild Emperor in Tyrol, the golf club Kaisergolf Ellmau is located at the edge of the town of Ellmau at Mühlberghof. At an altitude of 820 meters, it offers a majestic view of the silhouette of the Emperor Mountains with the Wild Emperor. The golf club Kaisergolf Ellmau is easily reached from the district city of Kufstein via the E641/B178 and B173. Even from Innsbruck, Berchtesgaden, and Salzburg can the club be reached within an hour via the A12, E641, and B305. Founded as a family business in 1898, a 9-hole practice course was built in 1990. With time, it became the public 9-hole Kaisergolf course, type “mountain” with par 54. The hilly course is considered easy, however, it does demand finesse and an exact, varied game from golfers with its slanted areas, small greens, and narrow fairways. Well-placed bunkers and water hazards do their best to make add to the golf course’s challenge. The practice area at Mühlberghof is comprised of a completely covered driving range with ten tees, putting and chipping greens, as well as practice bunkers. Golfers can prepare themselves for the challenges of the 9-hole-course.
