Launceston Golf Club

Launceston Golf Club is one of the top clubs in Tasmania and even is the fifth oldest 18-hole-course in Australia! It was founded in the year 1899. The layout of the 5,808-meter-long par-72-course is “hard but fair”, meaning athletically challenging and interesting. The fairways are surrounded by trees and the greens are well protected by strategically placed bunkers. One of the most difficult holes is the 13th one, a 159-meter-short par-3-hole, with bushland on the left and a pond on the right side.
