This club really lives up to its name: pleasantly quiet, relaxed, and surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Adelaide Hills – this is Mount Pleasant & District Golf Club. The way there leads past vines and pastures, away from the rush, stress, and noise of everyday life. The club, which was founded in 1970, is financed by its members. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, numerous tournaments are held throughout the year. The course (par 69 for men, par 71 for women) runs across flat to wavy terrain and is also suitable for occasional golf players. The course of the Mount Pleasant & District Golf Club is irrigated and also presents itself in a lush green in dry seasons. Bunkers and water hazards strategically interfere with the course. The latter are also the habitat for numerous bird species, which you can watch while playing golf. Kangaroos are also not uncommon on the groomed golf course, whose fairways are surrounded by tall trees. The bistro at the clubhouse is only open on the weekends. Therefore, it is recommended to bring enough water or snacks for in between. The Mount Pleasant & District Golf Club lies directly on the B10 and is only 55 kilometres from Adelaide, which is located west of it.
