Sun City Country Club

The golf club is situated in the State of Western Australia, only a 45 minute drive to the north of Perth, in a unique location between Yanchep National Park and the lagoon shores. It is a joy to play golf in such unique surroundings. The golf course, which opened in 1975, was designed by Bob Green and Murray Dawson. The 18 hole championship course of the Sun City Country Club has already hosted several large WA-PGAs. The gorgeous parkland course (par 72) is lined by trees, 6,400 meters long, and athletically very challenging, not only due to the hilly course and skillfully positioned water and sand hazards, but also due to the several doglegs. You need a perfect line to hit the corners cleanly. Various holes of the Sun City Country Club have been refurbished recently. The course is now in splendid condition and ranks among the top 100 courses in Australia. The golf academy on site, the Jim Danas Golf Academy, is equally excellent. Here, experienced pros pass on their knowledge and experience to a younger generation of golfers. Sun City Country Club is a truly gorgeous golf site, with splendid greens, broad fairways, interesting bunkers, and a perfect mix of long and short par 4 holes. The course, unrivalled by other courses in the area, is populated by quite a few kangaroos.
