Valle del Golf Club

The Valle del Golf Club lies near Córdoba, the second largest city in Argentina, situated in the eponymous province. It winds through an undulating area of 340 hectares in the estate of Valle del Golf, offering a view of the Sierras de Córdoba mountain range. From Córdoba, the Valle del Golf Club is easy to reach in about half an hour via the RN 20. Córdoba’s airport is also half an hour away, and the trip from Aeropuerto Buenos Aires takes about 90 minutes. In 2010, the Valle del Golf Club opened a 27-hole facility consisting of an 18-hole course with par 72 and a 3,435-meter-long 9-hole course. The club is thereby home to the first 27-hole course in South America. The world-famous golf course architecture firm Nicklaus Design was responsible for the course’s design. Mark Meijer’s design for hole 7 particularly stands out. The course displays considerable altitude differences and is characterized by large greens and cleverly placed bunkers. Water hazards such as lakes and ponds, some of which golfers must play across, are also part of the course. The club’s own practice area offers a driving range for practicing long hits and a short game area. In 2014, the club hosted the Cabrera Classic PGA Tour Latin America.
