Golf-Club Villars

The impressive golf course at Golf-Club Villars is located amid the Waadtländer Alps at an average altitude of approximately 1,600 meters above sea level. The golf course is situated directly on the Route du Col de la Croix and can be quickly reached via the A9 from Lausanne. Since its founding in 1922, the Golf-Club Villars has been counted among the most traditional golf clubs within the Swiss golf association. The current facilities were last adapted in 2002 and expanded creating an 18-hole-course with par 70 for club members and day guests. Because the mountainous location of the various fairways creates differences in altitude, playing on the golf course at Golf-Club Villars requires strategy. The impressive panorama at Golf-Club Villars constitutes a view of Mont Blanc and the Rhone valley. Of the 15 range tees of the corresponding driving range, six are covered. Practice bunkers and a putting green invite both beginners and advanced golfers to train. A golf school with PGA certified golf professionals and a Pro-Shop on-site round out the offer at the Golf-Club Villars. Before and after the game, body and soul can be pampered with the culinary delights of the Swiss kitchen in the clubhouse. Glancing at the tournament calendar is also worthwhile as exciting golf tournaments are regularly played at Villars, such as the Triangulaire Villars/Vuissens/Emmental.
